I had my first fundraiser on Wednesday the 12th, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I had a spaghetti luncheon for my school group. I prepared an insane amount of food for it, and it was a huge success. I was amazed by the generosity of my community. My teacher was talking to me beforehand, and she really encouraged me with her words: if you show up for the Lord, He’ll show up for you. I believe that He did show up for me on Wednesday, and I pray that He continues to do so throughout the rest of my journey.
Big shoutout to my mom for helping prep and serve the food and to my sister, her best friend, and my amazing boyfriend for helping out and encouraging me throughout the entire day- I couldn’t have been successful without your help!
Emma, it sounds like your adventure has already begun. I am getting very excited to see you in action and it won’t be long before we begin our pilgrimage to your graduation. We hope to learn much more about you, your big adventure and World Race. We have you, your family and World Race in our thoughts and prayers.
